How The Patches Work
Dr. Loo’s Harmony Patches™ are made with proprietary formulae of organic ingredients to provide optimal healing benefits.
The active ingredients are released gradually across the skin via a diffusion process.
The outermost layer of the skin, the stratum corneum, acts as the body’s natural barrier.
It allows a limited number of molecules to pass through at a given time, providing hours of continuous relief of symptoms.
How the Ingredients Relieve Symptoms
The Patches are placed onto strategic areas for optimal relief of symptoms: for example, specific areas on the chest provide relief for a cough, and specific areas on the abdomen provide relief for gastrointestinal symptoms.
Why Harmony Patches™ Offer An Important Alternative
Dr. Loo’s Harmony Patches™ are beneficial for all age groups, especially infants and young children, who have trouble swallowing, or tend to choke and gag on oral remedies that often contain bicarbonates, sugar, alcohol, acid, and other additives.
In 2008, the FDA removed over-the-counter cough and cold medications for children under 4 years of age because of serious side effects that included deaths and seizures. These medications were also found to be ineffective. The Cough Harmony Patches™ are well tolerated by infants and young children, in addition to being safe, effective, and long-acting.
Adults can discretely wear the Harmony Patches™ socialize without worries, and easily carry the Patches for outings and travel. The Patches offer quick and simple relief for Adults suffering from common yet bothersome symptoms like gastrointestinal symptoms (such as gas, bloating, and heartburn) and respiratory symptoms (such as common cold or allergy congestion and cough).
Older adults on multiple medications can also use the Harmony Patches™ to ease discomfort.
How To Apply The Patch
Apply Dr. Loo’s Harmony Patch™ onto dry skin (free of oil or lotion). Moisture can cause the Patch to fall off. For maximum efficacy, apply the Patch according to instructions for the recommended amount of time.
During first time use, check for sensitivity after 5 minutes. Mild redness is not an allergic reaction. Blisters, swelling, and eczema, however, are not normal reactions. If you experience these symptoms, remove Patch and apply a cream or ointment as needed. If no reaction is detected after 5 minutes, check skin under the patch again after 15, 30, and 60 minutes. Check again every 4-6 hours. Remove the Patch if a reaction occurs at any time.
Do not apply Dr. Loo’s Harmony Patches™ over skin rashes or on open skin wounds. Do not apply on babies, children, and anyone with known severe skin allergies to foods or plants, such as carrots, celery, chrysanthemum, daisies, or ragweed. Do not apply on persons who are undergoing chemotherapy or immunosuppressive therapies, and blood thinning products. Do not apply the Patch on the face or around the ear area.
Adhesive on the Adult Harmony Patches™ contains a small amount of acrylic. The Patches should not be left on for more than 12 hours. Skin irritation may occur in some individuals with sensitive skin. Apply cream or lotion to the area as needed.
Pregnant women should consult her healthcare professional before using the Patch.
Please see this video on how and where to apply the Patches (adults should apply the Adult Patches to the same sites for corresponding symptoms):
